History and Growth
Established in 1975, Bagel Boss has grown from our roots as a neighborhood bakery to a franchise brand accessible by
aspiring bagel shop owners nationwide. We are 5th and 6th generation bagel bakers who have been serving New York’s finest bagels since 1935.
From lox & homemade cream cheese in a variety of flavors to babka, rugelach, challah breads and more. As a franchise brand with 21+ locations and growing, we have been supporting both our family and independent owners alike
– with our secret recipes, procedures and operational models to be able to maintain a commitment to the quality of our
products and beverages.
Key Milestones Between Initial Franchise Launch and Today?
In 2020, in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic, we decided to re-invigorate our franchise opportunity beyond the New York market – comfort and love become more important than ever to families everywhere and our Bagel of the Month Club shipments were becoming a very big part of our business – enough to tell us that there was demand in other parts of the country.

Chairman & Bagel Boss
Adam is a 5th generation bagel & bialy baker born & raised in New York. Adam has been growing Bagel Boss for 44+ years from bagel baking to building bagel stores and catering, Adam a/k/a ‘the Bagel Boss‘ is a master and true legend in the bagel industry.
CEO
Andrew is a successful serial entrepreneur and attorney. The leading full-service digital marketing company he founded was twice listed on the INC List of Fastest Growing Companies. Thereafter Andrew successfully sold the business to private investors and again to a public company. Andrew began working at Bagel Boss when he was 15 yrs old.
Store Builds & Training
Alex is a 6th generation bagel baker born & raised in New York. Having literally grown up in his family’s 13+ Bagel Boss locations Alex knows EVERYTHING it takes to make bagel store owners and operators successful.
